Hey everyone. Im (M/26/u.s.) starting to put together the idea of my first solo travel overseas to the S.E. Asia region. Does anyone have any advice or articles to read about prepping for this type of thing. Talking about basic things like budgeting, planning, where to stay, what to look out for, cell phone usage/plans, language barriers and possibly things that most people dont even think of?
Im going for a more minimalist nomad travel experiance rather than a more traditional touristy experiance. Right now nothing is concrete, im just throwing ideas around my head and just would like some realistic guidance
