Don't want to go home
I've just spent ~2 months in Peru and Bolivia which was awesome, my first solo trip and everything, and I arrived in Bogotá, Colombia yesterday. Colombia was supposed to be a quick visit just because my flight home is way cheaper from here. Just a few days ago, I was kind of tired of traveling and ready to go home.
But now I'm panicking - I do NOT want to go home in less than 3 weeks! Colombia has already taken this trip to a whole new level and I can't deal with the though of having to leave... On a logical level I get that I'm incredibly privileged, that there are people who have no ability to travel at all and that having close to 3 weeks here is more than most will ever have. But this is solely on an emotional level, I get so sad when I think about going home and leaving this amazing place. How do you deal with this sort of thing? Both at the moment, but also the massive post-travel depression that I know will hit me at home.
I know that I can come back, but I will feel silly if I visit the exact same places when there's a whole planet just waiting to be discovered. I usually aim towards not visiting the same country twice, but I think I'm gonna have to break this rule for Colombia...
