Budapest or Switzerland for reserved guy?
Hi All,
I'm doing a bit of solo travel before I meet up with friends in Prague and am having trouble deciding where I should go after Paris. I'm quite a reserved guy and don't really socialise well with others. One side of me wants to go out and be social in Budapest but I'm having reservations (it's a party scene and I'm awkward in those type of environments) and that's made me think about going to Switzerland to just spend some time with myself and go to Zurich/Lucerne. A couple of things I've thought about is that Switzerland seems to be expensive and people in Budapest don't really mix with ethnic minorities. Is it even worth going to these places for the amount of time I'm spending there? I'd really appreciate any one else's thoughts and experience :) (I'd also consider other places too)
At the moment my itinerary, in order, is to go to: Paris (3 days), Switzerland/Budapest (4 days), Prague (2 days - meeting up with friends), Rome and Venice (4 days), Amsterdam (4 days), Iceland (5 days), Barcelona (2 days), Madrid (3 days)
Feel free to critique my itinerary.
