Hey everyone-

Planning a leisurely road trip for this summer with myself and a childhood friend. We intend to go from Vancouver down to Ensenada and see as much as we can in between. I think we will likely be on I5 until Portland, where I would like to branch off and go the coastal route.

I have a few assorted questions:

I have a strong interest in seeing the Oregon coast and the redwoods which are along the way. Any other attractions to consider? Must not miss out of the way spots?

How long would you except this trip to take? I’m aiming for two weeks.

Have you dont this trip before? How was it?

Since speed isn’t our goal, should we mostly stick to the 101 coast highway? Another route I’m not thinking of?
