A good starter country in South/Central America to cheer me up (redundancy)
Hi y’all,
So, I’m sat with a nearly empty bottle of wine, trying to handle being told my job is at risk of redundancy because my boss dislikes me and couldn’t get rid of me through performance channels because I’m good at my job, all alone on a Friday night, and deciding where I should go on a trip to perk me up.
South or Central America are both high on my list. I’ve been to Peru before, for a couple of weeks, which I liked, but didn’t love.
What I like: colonial cities, robust red wine, great food, tasty cocktails, beautiful beaches, horses and kind people. But also not feeling like I’m about to be mugged constantly.
Brazil and Argentina both seem to tick the box. What do you people recommend? I guess for 2-3 weeks.
Guys, I’d love to be cheered up tonight. Care to help out a friend?
