Trip to Johannesberg and Copenhagen
Hi all, I have lurked here in the past but never posted. I love reading everyone's stories and advice here. A lot of what I read here makes me realize how big the world really is and how much there is to do and see, which really inspires me to travel to new places whenever possible.
With that being said, I recently booked a trip to Johannesberg and Copenhagen at the end of September into October of this year. I am looking for any tips and advice on what to do and where to go, especially in South Africa. I have five days in Johannesberg and haven't booked anything yet. I plan to stay at hostels the whole time. I am considering taking a flight to Capetown for two of the days that I am down there, but I am not 100% sure of that plan yet. Any tips, advice, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My time in Europe is open-ended right now as I have not booked my return flight yet. However, I don't plan on staying in Copenhagen for more than a few days. I am considering two plans. The first would be to go north and explore Scandinavia and eventually make my way across to Tallinn. The second plan would be to head south from Copenhagen and explore some of eastern Europe. What are you suggestions and experiences with this?
Thank you in advance for your help, and again, I greatly appreciate everything that I read and see on this sub.
