Questions from a first time solo traveler to south-east Asia
I've recently become obsessed with the idea of traveling to south-east Asia. I made a list of the places which I've researched a bit and heard from especially this sub which I would like to make my way to. Here is that list:
-Chiang Mai -GeorgeTown -Bali and the Gili Islands -Komodo National Park -Lombok -Pai -Singapore -Possible Palau? (but probably not, is there somewhere else to swim with stingless jellyfish?) -Taipei maybe
I definitely love the beach and water so islands peak my interests. My budget will be around $3500, not including airfaire. I haven't really found a certain answer on when the best time to travel there should be, but I'm trying to go anytime between March to July. I'm not really on any time constraints and so far my plan would just be to stay in areas longer which I enjoy, and the opposite. I'm looking for any advice about when to travel there, where else or where not to go to, or anything else for a first time solo person in SEA. My plan would probably be to fly into Bangkok or Taipei depending on the route. I'm 23 y/o M if it makes a difference. Thanks!
