Question for married solo travelers
Hi All-
As the title implies, i've always been curious to know how a marriage can shape someone's view on solo travel, or how much strain in puts on a relationship. I know part of the appeal for solo travel is just that, solo. But i've always wondered:
-
How do you manage to go solo if your spouse is not willing to go with you? do you want them to join you (do you get upset if they don't want to join you) or is this something that you talk and decide that you want to do this on your own?
-
Does having a spouse/partner makes it difficult to go solo, especially when you consider that you want to share those life experiences with someone close to you?
-
Lastly, what are some unique ways that you & your spouse/partner have taken to make it a wonderful experience?
Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.
-Cheers!
