First time solo trip to Charlotte, NC.
Hey guys, I’d love to hear experienced traveler’s thoughts on my plan for this trip and any suggestions you have.
As said in the title this will be my first solo trip. I’d be driving from Texas so about a 15 hr drive, nothin bad imo. I’m a tiny person with a huge SUV who loves camping and backpacking so I’m considering just sleeping in my trunk with the backseats down bc that space would be bigger than my bed at home haha. I have plenty of under trunk storage to keep my personal belongings out of view, along with lots of water and other supplies I bring.
I’m going to have to stop sometime on the way to NC to sleep, how do you typically go about just finding a place to settle down for the night?
It’ll be fucking cold, but would a fire be a bad idea in terms of drawing attention to myself?
Like I said I’m a newbie so pls don’t be too harsh on my stupid questions! and thank you in advance!
