First time solo traveller from Canada. Going to Europe for 2 - 2.5 weeks.
Hi, I'm a first time solo traveler from Canada. Currently I have a pretty vague plan but idea is to do a round trip from my city to Amsterdam.
I haven't been outside North America for the most part so pretty inexperienced. I am a 21 year old male and decently outgoing. Not huge into drinking but can do it in the right setting. In terms of the budget, its about $1500 USD excluding the flight. I definitely would want to stay in hostels but I'm fine paying for niceish hostel.
In terms of my interests, I like to hike and run a lot but would prefer trying newer activities for this trip. I'm quite into good street food. I would like to explore a lot of historical places, museums, and film related sites. I am bilingual(born in India) but will primarily rely on my English.
So the plan is as follows Amsterdam(4-5 days) --> Berlin(4-5 days) --> Prague(4 - 5 days) --> Rome/Budapest/something(3-4 days) --> Make my way back to Amsterdam.
I would like for more seasoned travellers to guide me the best they can from their own personal experience and any suggestions of events/spots/hostels etc. would also be appreciated.
Thanks guys
