Extension of work trip - Argentina & Chile
I'm likely going to be in Buenos Aires & Santiago for work later this year (~August-September). I'm not sure in which order yet, but the plan is probably going to look something like this:
City A: Wednesday-Friday
Travel + Weekend
City B: Monday-Wednesday
This gives me the opportunity to extend my trip on my own either before or after a few days (or both!) to explore a little bit. I would love to spend some time exploring both cities and perhaps nearby destinations and am wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for destinations/trips/tours that would fit within two or three days in the region. Although I'd love to, Patagonia seems to be out of the question as I don't have the kind of time off to justify more than a few days before or after my work trip. A couple thoughts I have are Iguazu Falls or Montevideo. I'm also fairly limited in Spanish and wouldn't be super confident or comfortable traveling completely on my own. So although I'm usually not fond of them, guided group tours might be a good bet for me.
In any case, would love to hear any suggestions.
