Any suggestions for a trip to The Balkans

I’m planning on spending 2-3 weeks exploring The Balkans, from the beginning of March onwards. Nothing’s booked (apart from handing my notice in at work!) so can take a bit longer if need be. I’ll be doing the standard getting the bus around and staying hostels.

My current plan is: Budapest -> Timisoara -> Belgrade -> Sarajevo -> Mostar -> Dubrovnik -> Budva -> Ohrid -> Sofia -> Bucharest.

Does anyone have any suggestions - places to add to the list or take away, how long to stay in each location, must see sights etc.
