Two weeks in Europe. What's the ideal amount of stops?
I'm planning an European trip that will last two weeks, sometime between June and July, and I've never been outside of America so the scale of the continent of is lost on me.
I'd like to see as many locations as possible with only spending a day or two in a location. I'd like to see several countries but I'm not sure if this is doable. I'd like to land in Rome and end up in Cologne.
While looking at a map, I was thinking that I could do Italy, Switzerland, pass through France on the way to Belgium, Amsterdam and end in Cologne, Germany.
Is this reasonable for two weeks or is this mighty ambitious?
