I work remotely (need decent wifi) and went to Thailand for the first time this year after reading about it the past two or so years. It met my expectations and surpassed them.

I ended up staying around 4 months and also spent a week in various places: Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Japan. Loved them all, but Thailand remains my favorite. I was overwhelmed by Bangkok at first, but after coming back a few times between Chiang Mai and Koh Lanta, I grew used to the craziness.

Anyway, I'm planning to go again in January for another 3+ months. I was looking at other destinations around the area to visit that I still haven't been. I was thinking Penang, Bali, or Singapore? Anyway hope I can get some good suggestions, thanks for reading!
