I'm in the fortunate position of having a fair amount of British Airways avois points, and was going to spend them for something more than a usual European redemption. In Zone 4, I could go to Beirut, Amman, Kuwait or Abuja. This would be for the start of May.

I'm a fairly experienced solo traveller, and have been to India, Palestine etc. on my own, so I'm fairly used to getting around when it isn't the most intuitive. That said, for this trip I would like something more 'cultural' where I can take in a different environment in a fairly manageable way.

I would have one week (Sunday to Sunday) to explore, and would want to take in both the main city, and also anything within an easy transport distance around. I don't drive, so would be reliant entirely on public transport.

If you've ben to any and they were amazing (or terrible!), it would be really helpful with another person's perspective to get the best out of my trip!
