At the end of this month I'll be driving from Southern California to Canada, stopping in a few places along the way. Total of 9 days, there and back. I've been reading up on how traveling solo can be an eye-opening, soul-searching, amazing experience, and I kind of want to try it! However, I've never driven that far for a trip (especially alone) so I'm considering inviting my girlfriend. We've been together for a little over a year, have a very good relationship, and we've taken smaller trips together just fine. I do very much value alone time though, and that's a long way to go with someone. I'm feeling 50-50 about it. Any advice?
