I've never gone on a solo trip, and after reading everything on here and talking to people, I realize it's something I really need to try. For my initial trip i'd like to go west. I'm based in Ohio, and have never ventured west of Toledo, so this would be entirely new to me. I'm pretty open to anything, but I'd love to see the grand canyon, maybe do a back pack trip for a couple days. That's really the only requirement on my things to do/places to see. I'm looking to go around June of 2018 if that helps. Any tips, recommended routes, places I should check out? What's the best way to plan something like this? I'm very flexible and a very go with the flow type person, so anything is appreciated!!
