First-ish time in India. 2 weeks in Golden Triangle/Rajasthan - itinerary advice desperately sought!

Hey guys,

Experienced traveller here, but a little nervous since India is kind of crazy. I was there before 10 years ago, but as part of a school trip, so I did none of the planning/organisation. This time I'll be flying solo and I have a bit of a time restriction. I'd like to know what you think about this very rough itinerary. About me: 27M, interested in culture, food, wildlife, architecture, natural scenery, keen to just get a good feel for this part of India.

Feb 5: Fly into Delhi - arrive at 10pm, head straight to hotel near airport.

Feb 6: Fly to Udaipur - main goals here are to acclimatise to India in a slightly more chilled place, maybe do a yoga class, but just take it easy.

Feb 7: Udaipur

Feb 8: Udaipur

Feb 9: Bus to Jodhpur (6 hours) - not sure whether or not to do this overnight (the night of the 8th)

Feb 10: Jodhpur: want to see the fort and eat the samosas and just walk around - not too sure if I'm giving myself long enough here.

Feb 11: travel in the afternoon to Jaisalmer by train

Feb 12: Jaisalmer - in the evening go on a camel safari, camp overnight in the desert.

Feb 13: Jaisalmer. Night train to Jaipur

Feb 14: Jaipur (not too sure what there is to do here other than forts)

Feb 15: Jaipur

Feb 16: Jaipur

Feb 17: Morning train to Agra.

Feb 18: Visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning. Afternoon - train to Delhi

Feb 19: All day in Delhi, midnight flight home. (might hire a driver to take me around the main sights?)

So in total, that makes 1 night in Delhi, 3 nights in Udaipur, 2 nights in Jodhpur, 1 night in Jaisalmer, 1 night desert camping, 1 night on a train, 3 nights in Jaipur, 1 night in Agra and 1 last night in Delhi.

My main fear is that I'm trying to do too much in my short amount of time. I am not someone who likes to rush, but I also only have two weeks, so I can't hang around either. Firstly, I know that I hardly have any time in Delhi, but I'm cool with that. I feel like I'd be spending time there just because it's the capital - when really I don't know what there is to do there of interest. But perhaps I'm wrong? Time would be way less of an issue if I cut out Jaisalmer, but I am really keen to do the camel safari, and Jaisalmer seems like a really charming place. Is it worth making the trip out there? Or could I have a similar experience elsewhere? I know you can do camel safaris from Jodhpur - but what about the town of Jaisalmer itself? As for Jaipur - I've allotted three full days there without really knowing what I want to do there - is it worth this amount of time? Finally, I'd be interested in getting a suit tailored whilst I'm over there. Any clue about where would be best to do this?

Anyway, lots of questions, but any advice would be really appreciated because I'm now at the point where I want to firm things up and I'm still quite confused about what to do.
