14 Day Tentative Colombia Itinerary (First Trip)
This is my first solo trip and I'm a little nervous, but excited for the adventure. I'm a male, 26, Value Time > Money on this trip (hence the flights instead of buses), Gringo but I speak Spanish (lived in Argentina & Uruguay for 2 years...Spanish is rusty though).
- Day 1: Fly to Bogota
- Day 2: Explore Bogota (La Candelaria, El Museo de Oro, and Cerro Montserrat)
- Day 3: Bogota -> Zipaqueria Day Trip
- Day 4: Fly to Medellin, explore Medellin
- Day 5: Explore Medellin
- Day 6: Day Trip to Guatapé
- Day 7: Fly to Pereira, get to Salento, spend day in Salento
- Day 8: Cocora Valley
- Day 9: Salento/Pereira
- Day 10: Fly to Cartagena
- Day 11-13: Cartagena/Barranquilla (I have a friend there) Region
- Day 14: Fly Home
Planning on staying in Hostels for the social scene. I only have my 2 flights booked so far-- My flight to Bogota and flight home from Cartagena so my schedule in between is flexible.
