What are your experiences of travelling solo while managing a mental illness ?

I am especially interested in serious ones like Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder but even if you live with a non-serious one, I would like to hear from you. I have the last one along with Depression and Anxiety. What is the best way to go about it? Perhaps only go to countries where there is a decent healthcare system? Always have insurance? What do you think? Last time I travelled, I did end up having to go to The Samaritans to have a chat with them as I was feeling that low. I am from London and I travelled to another UK city. I don't feel like mental illness should stop me from living my life and I feel like especially with anxiety, you have to push yourself through it.

I don't take any medication btw.
