Vietnam was one of a kind, but where can I go to get a similar experience

Hey all!! Did Vietnam about 1.5 years ago and it changed my life. The people, the landscapes, the beaches, THE FOOD, motorbiking around and doing day trips on my motorbike. Stopping off at a road side place and getting lunch with the locals then haning in a hammock for a few hours. I had never done anything else like that and it was amazing.

This April i bought a roundtrip ticket to Singapore from NYC. I'll be spending three nights in Singapore then from there need to head somewhere.

What is on my radar is Sumatra, East Java and the Philippines but that is A LOT of moving around in only three weeks and the distance between them all is pretty big. Flying, whihc is what Iw ould ahve to do would be 10 to 13 hour flights and unless I'm doing them overnight I will lose a lot of my vacation time in transit.

I'm lost, confused and it's very stressful trying to plan this. I want to make the most of my trip and with Vietnam 1.5 years ago everything was so close it was easy to get around.

What would you all recommend I do from Singapore to have a simmilar experience with Vietnam. I REALLY want to get to El Nido in Palawan but i know it's difficult to get to and i heard the food is terrible. I'm really looking for a place with an amazing street food scene.

I haven't done much research on Malaysia and some of the islands that are closer to Singapore. Maybe some suggestions there. Thanks!!
