After I graduate this year I was thinking about heading over to New Zealand around mid October till mid January. I know a good handful of family members that live in the north island of New Zealand that I was thinking of crashing with for a day or two. Other than that I have no real plans other than wanting to go tenting and hiking at mostly every place I go. I would really like to explore the beaches and forests around wangarei and hikurangi. Also a factor that I need help considering is transportation, hop on hop off bus, buying van, buying motorbike, buying car. Any help and info on what I should do and where I should go would be helpful.
