Solo travel from Lakota ND to Canada
Hey all, im 27M working in Iowa for the last four months and recently was told I would be most likely spending december/january in Lakota ND. Since I will be so close to Canada and my company gives me a rental car I figured I would drive up to Canada for 6 or 7 days. I will have approximately $1000 US to spend. My question is..
-
I have never driven through any type of international border, is there anything I should know beforehand?
-
Is $1000 US dollars enough to have a good expierence? I generally prefer not to stay in a hostel (did that in Honduras) and would like to eat pretty well while im there, I also like adult beverages very much
-
Anything I definitely have to do during my visit? I may be in Lakota ND longer than 2 months so i could potentially make weekend trips back to Canada if my first trip goes well.
Thanks!
