NYC: SoloTrip in Early December
Hey guys, An international visitor here :)
I'll be travelling to Seattle at the end of this month for work and am planning to take a week off once my work gets done. Most of my friends are either busy with work or have exams during that period, so I gotta travel alone. Since I'll be travelling alone I considered New York the perfect destination as there is enough to do for a week.
I have the following questions about the trip: 1) Is Early December a good time to visit NYC? Will it be freezing that I won't be able to walk around?
2) Could you recommend a few International hostels in NYC? or would it be better if I chose a cheap AirBnB in Brooklyn? I'm also considering pinging a few college Alumni for a free couch but am in two minds. I would meet a lot of people in a Hostel and could get like-minded company during my stay in NYC, what do you guys suggest?
3) I'm planning to visit most of the museums, try out the various eateries and catch a cheap broadway show(do they exist). Will be going through http://ift.tt/1PGvVvY to make up a plan and update this thread for your views
4) Last of all, anyone up for a game of Catan, I'll buy the first round of drinks:)
