First Solo Asia Mini Trip - Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai
Hey Reddit,
I am going on my first fully solo trip to Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai next month and I wanted to see if you lovely people had any suggestions, tips and tricks you could give me. It will be my first time in all of these cities, and frankly Asia in general. Here is my itinerary so far, and I cannot wait for your insights!
Also I know there are millions of awesome adventures that I could be going on in these places instead of hitting up every Disney park, but that is what sparked this trip for me!
TOKYO:
Dec 9: 4:55pm Arrive in Tokyo!
Dec 10-12: In Tokyo (Looking for suggestions)
Dec 13-14: Tokyo Disney Resort
Dec 15: Depart 8:55am (How early do I need to check in at HND?)
Hong Kong:
Dec 15: Arrive: 12:55PM, I was thinking of taking the train straight to Hong Kong Disney for the rest of the day.
Dec 16-17: In HK (Looking for suggestions)
Dec 18: I have my flight to shanghai at 10:30pm, I was thinking of going back to Disney and hanging out there until my flight departs as it is close by. (How early do I need to check in at HKG?)
Shanghai:
Dec 19: Arrive 12:55am (Hopefully). Because of the late night arrival I figured it best just to book a room at the in airport hotel, then take the train into town when I wake up. It looks like the only way into town at that hour would be a cab that would cost nearly as much as the room. Anyone stayed at the PVG hotel?
Dec:19-22: In Shanghai and looking for suggestions
Dec 23: Depart at 4:30 pm (How early do I need to check in at PVG?)
