Hello friends, buddys, guys,

Canadian here working in Lincoln UK until mid-December. I've spent past couple weekends exploring Lincoln and it's been great but it's time to start branching out.

I'm looking for suggestions on easily walkable cities, accessible by train. I don't have too many weekends in the grand scheme but so far on the list I'm thinking York, Edinburgh and London is an obvious one with a potential day tour out Stonehenge/Bath/Salisbury (though i know that part wont be solo travel).

Looking for recommendations, personal experiences or advice on the above.
