Trip to China, Few Questions
Hey guys,
I am headed to china at the end of this month with the following itinerary:
- Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
- Day 2: Beijing
- Day 3: Beijing
- Overnight train to Xian
- Day 4: Xian
- Day 5: Xian
- Overnight train to Shanghai (maybe take the train the next day instead of overnight)
- Day 6: Shanghai
- Day 7: Shanghai
- Day 8: Shanghai
- Overnight train to Beijing
- Day 9: Leave Beijing in the afternoon
I have the following questions:
How far ahead to book the overnight trains (using China DIY?)?
Is it possible to visit Hua Shan in one day and make it back to aboard the overnight train? Or should I move the train to the next day train?
I don’t have much planned for Shanghai so recommendation would be great (should I remove one day from Shanghai for Beijing?).
Any recommendation on good day tours, general areas for hotels, etc…
