Travelling to Ireland in July. Looking to refine my Itinerary.
I am planning a trip to Ireland beginning at the beginning of July for about 2 weeks. My budget is flexible. I am hoping to refine the itinerary below. My goal is to not rush everywhere or spend too much time in a car. Are there places in this itinerary that you thought were not worth spending time in, or places that you thought deserved more time to visit? There is one free day that I have no clue where to put. Where would you recommend that I place it?
Some of my interests are hiking, biking and surfing. Where would be the best places to do these activities? Thank you for any help with this matter.
- Day 0: Travel to Dublin
- Day 1: Arrive in Dublin (O’Connell Street, General Post Office, Guinness Tour, Jameson Experience)
- Day 2: Dublin (Walking tour, Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol)
- Day 3: Travel to Cork
- Day 4: Cork to Killarney
- Day 5: Ring of Kerry
- Day 6: Dingle
- Day 7: Cliffs of Moher & Burren National Park
- Day 8: Connemara
- Day 9: Siglo
- Day 10: Donegal
- Day 11: Belfast
- Day 12: Glens of Antrim, Giants Causeway
- Day 13: ***To be Determined, can move this anywhere
- Day 14: Dublin
- Day 15: Fly out of Dublin
