Itinerary Help and Holiday blues advice?
I am so excited for my upcoming trip. Any must see/travel tips would be greatly appreciated. Heres what I have so far
London - 4 days- Phoenix Hostel
Copenhagen - 3 days - Urban House Hostel
Hamburg - 1 day- A&O Hostel
Berlin- 4 days - St. Christophers Hostel (What to do for xmas?)
Prague- 3 days - Hostel help?
Munich- 3 days - New years here or stay in prague or move rome up?
Rome - 7 days (too much/ any italian city you guys prefer more?) from here down Im leaving the hostel up in the air, i want to try couch surfing but if not no big deal
Barcelona- 4 days
Porto- 2 days
Lisbon- 3 days
Zurich- 3 days
Istanbul - 4 days
Reykjavik- 9 days -meeting up with a friend to drive the golden circle.
I have been alone for the holidays, this year was pretty tough for me. Break up/work issues/friend issues/ family and personal issues. I havent booked a flight out of istanbul to iceland yet, i may try to extend this trip and head to SEA from there (my original plan but i waited too long and flights are too much now but they seem to be cheap from there)
I am just worried about being alone for xmas and new years. What cities should I try to get to by the holidays to make the most of it? Have you guys found a lot of people are travelling solo during the holidays? Also do you think a budget of $2500 not including flights is enough for a trip of this length?
