I fuc*ed up so bad!! Learn from my mistake kids.
So here I am on my first 21days in Thailand on the first leg of my "Around The World" trip! Sounds exciting right? Well not really... 14 of those days I have been on crutches and in a leg cast due to a small motorbike accident with myself and gravity.
Long story short, I crashed a motorbike in Koh Lanta. It was my first time on a bike and figured it would be a good place to learn due to slow traffic and wide open spaces..well..I barley made it out of my hotels parking lot before falling over and scraping myself up pretty good. I checked myself into a medical clinic not far from my hotel and they believed that I may have fractured a small but very important bone in my ankle. So they suggested that I went and saw an orthopedic doctor to determine the actual results.
Well as of yesterday I made it to one of the top hospitals in the world Bumrungrad Hospital (Bangkok) and they cannot see a fracture anywhere so now I am due for an MRI on Monday. Luckily I do have insurance.
I have been trying hard to make the best of it and go see things but it's finally wearing me out and I am just over it. Determining the results on Monday I may be headed home early unfortunately.
Moral of the story is don't get on a motorbike if you don't know what the hell you are doing. I'm lucky I didn't hurt myself more badly or even worse hurt someone else do to my actions.
