Four European capitals in four days?
I've always been a bit nervous about travelling on my own and to be honest it's something I'd rather do with friends, but I haven't been able to find any to go with on this juncture and my desire to see the world is surely greater than my loneliness anxiety.
Besides, if I'm ever to be able to ride solo on longer, further afield trips, then it seems wise to start with a short trip and see how it goes.
I'm a 22 year old Scottish guy living in London. Now, I've recently come into £80 of Ryanair vouchers due to the flight cancellations. Normally I'd use these to visit home one weekend, but the entire London > Scotland route is suspended, so I figure why not use them for an adventure?
So I've been to 10 countries in my life: namely the UK, Republic of Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Monaco (yes it counts), Croatia, Greece and Turkey.
I'd be able to increase this to 14 in the space of 4 days.
Saturday - Early morning flight London Stansted to Budapest. Land in Budapest before 9am. Spend the day exploring the city, probably do one of those free walking tours. Stay in hostel and attend their bar crawl if they have one. If they don't then attend some other organised bar crawl. Hopefully meet people.
Sunday - Flixbus Budapest to Bratislava. Arrive around 2pm. Again walking tour followed by bar crawl.
Monday - Flixbus Bratislava to Vienna. Arrive lunchtime/early afternoon. Yet again walking tour and bar crawl.
Tuesday - Vienna to Prague. Usual formula.
Wednesday - Fly home from Prague.
What do people think of this agenda? Would love to tick 4 countries off my list without having to pay for flights or take much time off work.
