I'm off to Iceland next week Monday 16th October and it's my first solo trip! :) I'll be in Reykjavik for the first night and possibly in Akureyri for 2 nights on Tuesday and Wednesday, before heading back to Reykjavik.

This is probably a long shot, but as I can't drive I was wondering if anyone here who happens to be in Reykjavik at the same time would be willing to let me car share with them on the drive up to Akureyri (if you are heading up that way)? Or if anyone knows any car sharing sites, etc.

Also, I left my itinerary quite open so if you have any recommendations for food, what tours I should check out, etc that would be so helpful. :)
