First solo travel - Hot or cold December?
Hi everyone, I'm new here to /solotravel/ - I have a $300 credit for a United flight and ready to use it for a good, 2-week-long December trip. Airline credit aside... I'm dirt poor. Should I take advantage of the European Christmas festivities (Rick Steves style) or go instead to a cheaper, warmer country?
As for me I'm new to solo travel as a whole but I did just come back from a full year of living in NYC on my own, so things like public transportation, large hectic crowds and self sustenance aren't foreign to me. Austria always seemed beautiful, and that Krampus parade is a riot, but then there's the expense. At the end of the day cheap munchies are my ultimate source of happiness.
