Couchsurfing - Share Bed or Sleep on the Floor?
Posted a public trip and received an offer to host from a mid 20s male with 25+ references (all positive).
Him: “Thanks for your reply. Welcome to my city! Hope you enjoy your stay. Just wanted to let you know that I'm hosting another Couchsurfer tonight. I only have one couch, so would you be comfortable sleeping on the floor?”
Me: “Is there something to sleep on or just floor? :-)”
Him: “It's just a floor, also have a double bed if you are comfortable sharing. I will be out drinking and dancing until 2 AM most likely.”
Me: “I actually don't mind sharing a bed if that doesn't bother you. When will you go out? I am super excited about joining you in a bar and trying out drinks”
Him: “Great that's fine, happy to hear you want to join us at the bar for drinks. I live downtown, can you make it to my apartment by 8:30?”
Me: “I’ll do my best! If I don't make it, it will be because of traffic! So please share the address! See you in a bit. Thanks again!”
Has anyone been in this situation before where they shared a bed on Couchsurfing? Is this a good idea?
