Central American itinerary - what have I missed?
Hi all, over the past two weeks (using this sub, /r/travel, wikivoyage and TripAdvisor) I've come up with the following itinerary for Central American trip. What would you recommend / what have I missed?
I'm unsure I'd like to go to El Salvador; couldn't find anything caught my eye to overcome the crime rate.
I've already been on the road for 4 months, I'm learning Spanish and can get my point across currently. Looking to work in some Workaways in a few of the places I'm heading and do Spanish lessons in Xela. Also might learn to SCUBA in Cancun. I've got a good sized budget but as this is part of my RTW trip, probably only looking to spend $2k exc. SCUBA lessons.
I'll probably stay for 2-4 nights in each location, depending on how I feel about the place / if there's a lot to see outside of it - e.g. Oaxaca. Also travelling by bus between each place, unless otherwise stated.
