Trying to plan a honeymoon with privacy, nice beaches and moderately luxurious accommodations under 8k
My fiancee and I get hitched April of 2018 but aren't going on our honeymoon until early-mid May. We live in Tennessee, and the airports in Atlanta, Nashville and Knoxville are all fairly equidistant. The trip will probably be 7-10 days, and while we have been looking internationally, we are not opposed to staying in country to keep travel cost low so we can spend more on fun things. We've both traveled fairly extensively both on our own and together, so to an extent we know what we do and don't want. We don't want to go to a big resort with a pool shared by 100 guests, ideally we would like to have our own pool. The beaches don't have to be be lily white sand, perfectly manicured with wait staff at the ready. In a perfect world, there would be multiple beaches nearby, easy to access, with their own unique feel. We went to Saint John (usvi) in May, had a house with a pool to ourselves, rented a jeep and went to a different beach every day so I suppose were looking to do something like that, just in a different place. Places we've considered so far are Samoa, Mauritius, Seychelles, Belize, Bali, Galapagos, the Florida Keys, Baja etc etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
