Trip to Italy- Feedback//Planning Help needed
Hi All,
I know there are a ton of threads like this. I have gone through quite a few as well. However, I have very little time to finalize this as i will be leaving in a week's time, thanks to the Schengen Visa arriving super late. So i ask for your help again.
Anyway, this is my plan. The trip will be for around 14 days over the last two weeks of September.
Fly into Rome- 3/4 Days,
Venice-2 Days - We are just two guys and did not make sense to spend too much time at a place where the main draw is how romantic it is. The feedback i have received so far also says the same.
Florence-3/4 Days- 3 Days if its only Florence. 4 if i can spend two days at a village or small town out of Florence. After a week of travelling, it would be nice to have like a day to just relax.
Cinque Terre- 3 Days
Bologna-2 Days
I still have a day or so that i can use and maybe i can squeeze out a day from one of the above places if its not working out. So my main query is where else can i go for a couple more days that might be in and around these places?
Apart from that Any suggestions regarding what to do? Any specific tours i can go to? Places to eat/drink/party? Scams to avoid? Are there Rail/Museum passes?
Any and all help is much appreciated.
