This gal needs some advice for a solo Europe trip
Hello reddit fam. I'm a 24-year-old Asian-Canadian female, recently graduated from college. I am finally at a point in my life where I have the time, means, and guts to travel. Alone...to Europe. Here are some cities I want to visit: Brussels, Amsterdam, Prague, Rome and Paris. I want to eat great food, see and experience touristy things, spend time out of my comfort zone and meet travel companions along the way to enjoy these things with me.
I have NOT booked anything yet. I plan to go on a 4 to 5-week trip. This will be my first time traveling alone. I am trying to figure out how to approach this. Should I look into Workaway? Travel groups/tours? Book my own hostels? How do I travel between the cities? Is there land transportation that can take me everywhere or do I have to have to book mini-flights in between countries? Should I book these things when I am in Europe or pre-book everything before going? What sites do you recommend for me to visit for trip-planning/research?
If anyone has experience as a solo traveller (especially as a female or young solo traveller), please let me know how you approached planning your trip and any advice you have to offer! I'm super excited but I need a push for myself to make this actually happen.
