Starting my South America adventure in Brazil - where should I fly into?
Helllo!
I'm extremely excited because my plans and funds are finally coming together, ready for my to start my South America adventure in January. Followed by a week stay in New York at my cousin's house - then off to South East Asia!
I'm starting in Brazil, around the 16th of January. I'm going to be Uruguay/Argentina afterwards - so going clockwise. At first I was thinking flying into Rio is the obvious idea to start. But then it seems a bit stupid to fly into Rio to only visit the cool places north of Rio - to only come back down again when I head to Uruguay/Argentina
I want to see Salavador, Recife, Itacare and many other amazing looking places. I'm from the UK. Where do you think would be the best place to fly into?
I haven't planned too much yet, so I don't know if these places are worth going to - so any advice on that would also be great and how far north I should travel.
I don't want to do any jungle btw!
Thanks :)
