Iceland/ Russia in December
My dad works in Russia so my mom, brother and I are planning to go over at Christmas. We have all been before. I've been looking into flights and in trying to figure out (convince my mom of doing a two might layover) somewhere and I was thinking Iceland. I've been before in the summer and loved it. So looking at flights and stuff I figured this could work Dec 16 leave Toronto Dec 17 arrive Iceland 7am Dec 18 Iceland Dec 19 Iceland to cph to Moscow Dec 20 Moscow Dec 21 Moscow to magnitogorsk ( flight late at night) Dec 22- Jan 2 magnitogorsk Jan 2 to cophengan ( arrive at 11 am) Jan 3 home
Does this seem to make sense? I can make the flights work. Is spending one night in cophengan too much? Is it worth going to Iceland? What should we do in Iceland? I would be happy to spend another night on the way there or back somewhere but my mom wants to maximize time with my dad. And it was hard to convince her to even consider this plan.
