I'm currently in Oslo and checked out a Sofar show for the first time last night. I had a great time and am definitely going to keep this in mind whenever I'm solo traveling to a participating city. Basically you meet up at a person's apartment or other unique venue and it's a small scale BYOB show with up and coming artists. Last night was a good mix of locals and foreigners, groups and solo people. The atmosphere seemed much more social than your typical gathering in Norway.
