One Month In Vietnam
Hello,
I (23/M) will be spending one month in Vietnam starting 9/27. My plan currently is to spend a few days in HCMC and decide from there if I want to take a motorbike North, or to take trains and busses. If I feel confident enough, I will be taking the HCM Highway North to Hanoi, with a possible detours to Hoi An and Ninh Bihn. From what I've read this should take about two weeks though I plan on taking some extra time in places I enjoy. As this is my first time traveling in a foreign country I was hoping to find some people to travel with. I understand that the biggest issues with motorbiking through Vietnam are the trucks, buses, and general city traffic. I am aware of the common scams price increases, and bag snatching. What I'm taking: 32 liter backpack, 40 liter and 5 liter dry bag, Hammock, Phone, Ipod, 5 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 5 pairs of socks and underwear, contacts, glasses, sunglasses, sweatshirt, raincoat, buff (for dust), toiletries, two wallets, a lock, a water bottle, a water bladder, a credit card and a debit card. I will also be hiding some cash on my person in case of emergency.
I hope this is detailed enough, Thanks!
