Is it possible to get to Alaska from Washington state without an ID or drivers license?
I ask this because it’s seems harder to travel to Alaska than it is to travel to other states, is it possible to travel to Alaska without any identification like you could with any other state?
I did some digging for information about this on Quora, they say the best option is to take a private plane or boat there, and if i took a boat, i should stay atleast 12 miles off shore until i reach Alaska, but the problem is they don't say what to do if you encounter or intercept CBP, only one person even brought up CBP, which is strange because you'd think that would be a very important detail about traveling past another country to get to another state without any form of identification. The guy who brought up CBP said i would need an ID to get past them, if this is true then it really defeats the purpose of going there without an ID in the first place. So what exactly would i do about CBP, assuming i took a private plane or boat to get there?
