How crowded is Iceland?
Obviously I know this depends on time of year, but I guess I'll just say summer because that's when the weather is prime for hiking and requires less gear.
I see so many amazing pictures of Iceland, and I know Reykjavik and places like Blue Lagoon will obviously be very crowded, but how crowded is the outer ring? Many of the pictures I see on reddit look so pristine, but those can be also very misleading. To those who have done the outer ring in the summer, were there lots of crowds/people around?
