Foodies traveling through East Coast to California
Hi all! My partner and I are moving to California next month and decided to visit family along the east coast before driving out west.
Our current stops are as follows:
Start: NYC Boston Washington DC Charlotte Atlanta Orlando Nashville Topeka Denver Salt Lake City Reno End: Sacramento
We have places to stay at almost every east coast location and are looking for more info on our random stops - Nashville, Topeka, SLC, Reno.
Normally I'd love to go hiking or find activities to do, but we will probably be too tired from driving and not have enough time to really explore these places. We are huge foodies and love to try local restaurants and favorites, which we figure we should have plenty of time for. We are both vegetarians who generally avoid dairy, but we enjoy trying new foods regardless of diet. So, if you know a place on our way that makes an out of this world speciality cheese dish, we'd love to try it!
