Ecuador 8 days in first week of February. Mountain(Chimborazo) climbing or Amazon stay(amazon dolphin lodge near Coca)? Any other recommendations?
Hi all I am looking for some advice. I am doing a solo trip in Ecuador (staying in Quito first then wherever, but flying back out of Quito) in first week of feb for 8/9 days. I would like to see the museum, maybe do the Devils Nose(if people think its worth it). but I am a prety adventurous person. I'm thinking about doing a 2 day mountain climb up Chimborazo. I am also thinking about doing a 3-4 day stay in the Amazon at one of the lodges. both are expensive and I would love to do both but I dk if money or time will allow it.
I am looking for some personal suggestions on what they think is more memorable? I know Ecuador's portion of the rain forest is a small % of the forest and I might see it in a other country.
