Drinking in L.A at 26
Hi All,
It’s been on my bucket list to be drinking in L.A at 26 since forever, and I’ve been saving for the last 2 years to make this dream a reality! I turn 26 in November and so will be looking to go to L.A during the next year.
Aside from spending a few days in L.A I’d obviously love to see a lot more of the west, in particular the classic Vegas/Grand Canyon/National Park things. I’m particularly keen/happy to do some camping and hiking as I do love desert landscapes.
I’ve been to Australia and Japan solo, and learnt that places like national parks etc can be a challenge if you’re alone, and I went through central Australia as part of a contiki tour (good and bad aspects of this). So far I’ve had a look at Guided options like trek America and they don’t really appeal.
Can anyone here recommend a good way to see the beautiful desert scenery of the west without me ending up a dehydrated husk? Is there anything in particular I should go and see too!
Time wise I’m looking at 2-3 weeks and have a budget of around £2.5k including flights. I’ve seen that high summer is a crap time to go so will be aiming for April-June Sept-Nov
