And it's been amazing. Just hiked and made a loop around Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Leutasch valley and back, and it was great with just me, myself, and my camera. I highly recommend going down to southern Bavaria if you have the chance, the food is sublime...

While I havent been doing what the majority of you guys are (longer trips, staying in hostels, etc), this sub is still useful. The resources and support you guys have for the community is great, and it was what convinced me to book this trip in the first place.

And don't worry, while I booked this trip to go truly solo and get away from the hustle and bustle of my work life, I still made some time to hit up Oktoberfest the week prior and met some cool people. Anyway, I'm done with my rambling. Enjoy your travels!
