So I have to attend job training in VA, rather than flying I decided to drive there. I will be leaving Sunday Oct. 1, and should arrive Wed. Oct 4 or Thurs. Oct 5. I will be traveling in a 2010 Taurus and really hope that it won't brake down (in the shop right now being inspected). There are 3 possible routes that I can take: 1. Take the I-10 2. Take the I-40 3. Pass through Vegas and take the I-70

The thing is, I've taken the I-10 before to get to Texas, the most interesting thing I saw was a cactus. Hella boring. Which route would you recommend? Any additional tips? I would like to occasionally pull over and enjoy the view. Also, I plan on driving 9-12 hours per day.
