Australia -Victoria Itinerary Suggestions 7 days
This is when being too busy to plan hurts. I'm flying to Australia next week for a friend's wedding and am taking 2 weeks time off. I've been before and stayed a month, so I've done a bit of things already. My first week I'm going to the Cairns/Port Douglas area since that's new for me. I'll then fly back to Melbourne for the wedding and will have another 7 days after that. I'm departing from Mel going home, so will need to end back there.
I was thinking of a road trip heading east from Melb since I've already gone west the last time I was out (day trip to 12 Apostles/Apollo Bay/Phillip Island). What are some great must see spots to stop at along the way heading east? I love nature over cities, adventure, wineries, etc. Also curious how far I can plausibly get to and back with a rental.
I know weather isn't going to be great most likely since they're getting into in spring (and I'm currently sitting in 85 degree weather). Appreciate any suggestions or ideas. :)
